Featuring: The blue floral and patch work motif is a Jay Yang adaptation designed from the collection of the Musee des arts “decoratifes” from the mid 1980s. On the reverse side of this BAG BAG is a vintage Waverly in a home decor weight. This vintage Waverly fabric in its Jewel tone organic yet abstract motif this vintage fabric is simply beautiful and complements the Jay Yang fabric on the reverse side. I used black woven straps to complete this uniquely awesome reversible tote by Urban Orchard.
Did you know that Jay Yang with a fine arts background began painting fabric patterns to earn a living. It did not take long for him to become a well-known name in the home décor textile world. Over Yang’s Impressive career he worked in many of the facets of the textile industry’s including on a collaboration with none other than Hubert de Givenchy for a home textiles collection in the 1980s.
I wash and dry all the vintage textiles before I cut and sew this ensures when you go to machine wash and hang to dry your BAG BAG it will maintain its shape… my gift to you - lol
